Four thin sheets of metal appear to be gracefully balancing on top of each other. Together they form the highly functional and sculptural side table Caramel, a temporary workstation in a meeting place and a striking object that pleases both the public and the private spheres.
”Caramel is a functional side table with a sculptural shape. Side tables in an office environment tend to have a typical expression of office furniture. We wanted to break away from that tendency and design a table that could function very well in an office environment as well as in a very sensitive domestic space”, explains Mårten Claesson.
